Getting started
What happens after I fill out your contact form?
A short, low-pressure path. (1) We do quick research on your website, brand, and competitors. (2) We hop on a brief call to make sure we're on the same page. (3) If it makes sense to keep going, we do deeper research on your location, industry, and current marketing setup, then draft a proposal. (4) We walk you through the proposal on a video call. (5) If you're ready to move forward, we send a formal agreement and handle onboarding access. (6) We build out your accounts and campaigns over the next few business days. (7) We review the initial work with you on a screenshare before launch.
Where are you based, and do you work outside Colorado?
We're a Colorado team on the Front Range, founded in Fort Collins and now based in the Denver metro, with clients throughout the Denver, Boulder, and Broomfield areas. We work with businesses across the United States, and we currently have clients in Canada as well. Almost all of the work runs remotely, so where you are hasn't been a limitation for a long time. Our team is a different matter: we hire internally and only within the United States, and we don't white-label services out to other agencies.
Do you work with new or startup businesses?
Absolutely! We love helping new businesses grow. It's important to find a good balance between short term marketing expenses and long-term business growth, so we custom tailor our recommendations based on the current needs of the business.
We've never run ads before, why should we start now?
The cost to enter the market will never go down, so it's never too early to get started. Digital advertising allows businesses to be where their customers AND competitors are. Working with a marketing agency with as much experience as Prospect Future ensures that your budget and strategy align with what's best for your business in both the short and long-term.
Working together
Do you require long contract terms?
Nope! We don't lock you into long-term contracts.
What's the typical commitment?
Shorter than most agencies ask for. Lead generation work generally starts month to month right out of the gate, and ecommerce engagements usually ask for a short initial term because of the setup involved up front. Worth knowing either way: a lot of what we build takes around three months to show its full effect, including site auditing, tracking and pixel development, retargeting, and audience building. We would rather earn the next month than lock you into a year.
Do you do project-based or ongoing marketing work?
We focus on providing the highest level of value for any relationship we are a part of. We find that long-term advisement and management on marketing and digital growth will benefit our customers the most. But, we also do project-based work based on need.
How available are you week to week?
We keep our calendar deliberately open so we can take a phone call or book a meeting around what each client needs, rather than forcing every account into the same fixed cadence. Capping how many clients each manager carries is what makes that possible. Strategy calls, email, and Slack Connect when it suits you.
What do you need from us to make this work?
Trust, first and foremost. In practice that means real access to the accounts and data we need, showing up for the calls, patience when the work needs time to compound, and dealing with us straight. We hold up our end the same way. The engagements that go well are the ones where both sides operate in good faith, and that matters more than any single tactic we could run.
Is it easy to get in touch with our account manager?
Prospect Future prides itself on its quick and thoughtful communication. Additionally, we cap the number of clients that each account or project manager has to ensure the highest level of attention, performance, and customer service.
Pricing
How do you charge?
We use a predictable structure that scales with the work: a base management retainer plus a small percentage tied to the ad spend we manage. We share the specifics on a strategy call once we understand the scope.
Do you have marketing packages we can choose from?
For some services like email marketing, website work, or branding, we do have set packages to choose from. However, when it comes to the overall best marketing and digital strategy for your business, we custom tailor what's best suited to your individual needs. This ensures you aren't paying for things you don't need and we can focus your budget on the things that will provide the best short-term and long-term impact.
Is there a minimum budget to work with you?
We look at fit and potential before we look at budget. What a business can invest right now matters, and we're realistic about it, but it isn't the first filter. We've taken on smaller engagements where the fit was genuinely strong and the upside was there, and we've passed on larger ones that weren't right. The honest answer is that it depends on what you're trying to accomplish, so we'd rather talk it through than quote a number that turns away the right business.
Do you offer a money-back guarantee or pay-per-lead pricing?
No to both, honestly. Guarantees structurally incentivize optimizing for the wrong things, like loosely defined leads to hit a number. Pay-per-lead is a different category we don't operate in. Our pricing is a transparent retainer plus a marginal percentage tied to ad spend, which keeps incentives aligned: we earn when your work scales sustainably, not when we deliver the cheapest possible form fill.
How we work
Who does the work?
A small in-house team, and the person who plans your strategy is the person who runs it. Matthew leads every engagement and works alongside specialists on our own team rather than handing accounts down a chain. We hire internally and only within the United States, and we don't white-label the work out to another agency, so the people you hire are the people doing the work. We also cap how many clients each of us carries, which is what makes senior attention a real thing rather than a claim.
What's your reporting look like?
Some of our core values are honesty and transparency and our marketing reporting dashboard reflects that. We combine real-time data from multiple different sources to provide a holistic and blended view of what's working, amount spent, and so much more. We customize each dashboard to reflect the needs and goals of each individual client. Our marketing reporting is desktop and mobile-friendly, ensuring that our clients' data is at their fingertips at any given moment.
Who owns the advertising account?
We understand how important it is for your business' long term success to build off of historical data. We also understand how valuable it is to see raw data when you need to rather than relying on third party tools and reports. As such, in every instance where it's possible Prospect Future ensures that you are the owner of the ad account.
Content on your website says AI Assisted, what does that mean?
Every idea on this site is ours. When an article carries the AI assisted label, it means we used AI to help with the research or the writing, working from our own thinking, our own testing, and our own client work. A person who knows the subject directs the piece and checks it before it publishes. Nothing here is written exclusively by AI.
What happens to my account if we stop working together?
You keep the account, the campaigns, the conversion history, the call-tracking setup, and the CRM integration. We document handoffs and remove our access. Most engagements start month-to-month so you can leave when you need to.
Fit and trust
What kinds of industries and businesses does Prospect Future work with?
We've worked with over 400 businesses across a wide range of industries, so chances are we've worked with one like yours. Our deepest experience is with service businesses that run on lead flow: home services like HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pest control, and landscaping, along with multi-location operators, franchise systems, and restaurants. We do significant ecommerce work as well. Between that range and our years of experience in marketing and digital growth, we've built a skillset that carries across industries.
We've been burned by an agency before. What's different here?
Integrity is built into how the work runs. The processes, the systems, the strategy, and the training all start from the assumption that we'll tell you the truth, including when the truth costs us money. That's what makes it possible to say "spend less here," "you're not ready for this yet," or "someone else is a better fit for this piece." It also makes the execution better, because nobody is quietly defending a decision they know is wrong. Most people who've had a bad agency experience weren't failed by tactics. They were failed by someone who wasn't straight with them.
Would you work with one of our direct competitors?
No. We take one business per market, so we're never optimizing against ourselves or splitting attention between two companies chasing the same customers. If an overlap ever comes up, long-standing clients get priority.
What if you don't think you can help us?
We will tell you. We turn down work we don't think we can deliver well, and we are happy to point you toward a better-fit partner. Saying no when we mean it is part of how we do business.
